A crucial game for both sides, the match-up between the hosts South Africa and Uruguay could go along way to deciding the fate of both teams in the 2010 World Cup. This will be the second match for both teams and it will be played at the famous Loftus Versfeld Stadium which has hosted some classic sporting occasions in the past. South Africa are desperate to perform well on their own soil and having faced Mexico in the opener, they will not need reminding of the importance of this one against the South Americans. Uruguay faced off against Group favourites  France in their opening match meaning they are also likely to be desperate for the three points in this Group A match.

South Africa of course did not need to qualify for the World Cup as hosts so have had a worry free couple of years. The same can not be said of Uruguay who scrapped and battled their way to South Africa via a play-off with Costa Rica.
